Product Overview

Waterborne (951) polyurethane waterproof coating is a new type of waterproofing material encouraged for development by the state. Due to its excellent performance, simple application, guaranteed waterproofing effect, and long service life, it has been widely used in various waterproofing and anti-seepage projects.

Waterborne (951) polyurethane waterproof coating is made from VAE and acrylic copolymer emulsion as the base material, modified through a specific process. It
combines the high elasticity of organic materials with the good durability of inorganic materials, reaching the advanced level of similar domestic products. It has been certified as a recommended product by the China Construction Industry Association.

Application Method

Follow the requirements of GB50207-94 “Technical Code for Roof Engineering”, Section 5.1.

Substrate preparation: The substrate must be flat, firm, clean, and free of standing water. Internal and external corners shall be rounded. For old roofs, remove all cracked, blistered, and loose waterproofing layers and dust. Level low and damaged areas. For leak points, perform leak sealing first. The substrate shall be flat with no standing water. Special areas such as drains and partition joints shall be treated with flexible sealant first. The application sequence shall generally start with internal and external corners, then vertical surfaces, and finally large areas.

Primer application: Mix water and coating at a weight ratio of 1:3, stir evenly before use. Applying primer improves penetration into the substrate and enhances adhesion.

Coating application: Apply by rolling, troweling, or brushing. The thin-layer multiple-coat method is recommended. Each coat shall not be too thick. Generally, apply 3–4 coats, with a total thickness of 1.5–2.0 mm. Wait until the previous coat is dry and forms a film before applying the next coat. Carrier reinforcement material s hall be added at weak points.

After each coat surface-dries, inspect the application quality. If missed spots or blistering are found, repair them promptly.
