Universal K11 waterproof slurry

Universal K11 waterproof slurry is a two-component, acrylic polymer-modified cementitious waterproofing material. Due to its permeability and flexibility, it blocks water penetration. The film also has excellent adhesion to concrete and mortar, forming a tight and reliable bond, resulting in superior waterproofing performance. This product is non-toxic and environmentally friendly. It inhibits mold growth and prevents salt contamination. Application is simple and not subject to site constraints. Product Features

  • Has certain flexibility – suitable for waterproofing where slight vibration or micro-cracking may occur.

Applications

Can be directly applied on damp or dry substrates such as brick, mortar, concrete, metal, wood, various insulation layers, and various waterproofing layers (e.g., asphalt, rubber, SBS, APP, polyurethane, etc.).

Can be used on all types of new and old buildings and structures (e.g., houses, bathrooms, below-grade works, tunnels, bridges, pools, reservoirs, etc.).

Application Method

  • The substrate must be firm, clean, and free of oil, loose materials, etc.
  • For larger cracks, pores, pinholes, and gaps around pipes, first fill and smooth with repair mortar. Internal and external corners shall be rounded. A layer of non-woven fabric reinforcement shall be added at details.
  • Newly poured concrete or plastered substrates shall be fully dried and stable before application. Dampen the substrate before application, but without standing water.

Substrate preparation

  • The substrate shall be solid, flat, clean, free of dust, oil, concrete release agent, and debris.
  • For oil-contaminated substrates, scrub with a 10% sodium hydroxide solution, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.
  • Any hollow, loose, or sharply protruding areas shall be removed and repaired with polymer cement mortar.
  • Internal and external corners are recommended to be rounded or chamfered.
  • If the substrate has defects or leaks, they must be properly treated before proceeding with waterproofing application.
